Make Learning a Game
It is far beyond the scope of this article, and this website for that matter, to teach you how to design instructional games. However, games are one way to engage students and make learning fun. And games tend to appeal more to men than women. The point is this. If you are frustrated because the men in your class are not paying attention and are not learning, it may because you are not appealing to what amounts to a new learning modality – GAMING.
